Flip Flop Ranch is a small family farm and farm stay located in Lucerne Valley. At our farm in the High Desert of Southern California, we teach visitors about farming and give them a taste of the farm life. We are dedicated to the preservation of very rare and very endangered breeds of American livestock as well as being dedicated to teaching people about farmlife. We raise healthy farm fresh meat as well as selling our rare livestock to other small farmers.

We offer a peek into a rural lifestyle that disappeared for many when the family farm was sold, often generations ago. There is a pace to life on the ranch that starts with the early morning
wake-up call by the rooster and that ends with quiet and the total darkness at night, except for a fantastic view of the stars.
As a working farm, we have a variety of animals so you can learn about livestock, collect eggs and milk a goat! Learn to sheer a sheep or take one of our homesteading classes and learn to make cheese or soap, plant a garden, can and more. Learn to farm!
