Programs

During Flip Flop Ranch Family Programs and the School and Community Programs, visitors explore our farm and gardens and track their meal from farm to fork; discover pastures and animal care by working with goats, cows, sheep, chickens and ducks; study a rich desert ecosystem home to quail, bobcats, mountain lions, kit foxes and coyotes.

There is something for learners of all ages at Flip Flop Ranch. Educating for a sustainable future is our mission, and we focus on agricultural, environmental, and cultural topics. Check out all the opportunities (organized by audience), and join us!

People We Serve

Each year, Flip Flop Ranch provides field trips and overnight campouts to nearly schools and community organizations from throughout the High Desert, Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County Area. Students explore our farm and desert and learn about the interdependence of people and the environment, with a focus on food and farming. Flip Flop Ranch is committed to engaging a diverse community in our programs; we keep program fees as low as possible while providing scholarships to half of all participants.
