We’ve opened our doors and hearts to guests from around the world.  Many of our guests return year after year and have become dear friends. Maybe it’s the home-cooked meals or the novelty of a genuine, working farm.  Perhaps it is the allure of the peace and quiet of the quiet desert or the chance to milk a goat!   Some come to celebrate anniversaries, others family reunions.  Whatever the reason for your visit, we are blessed to be able to share our home and our way of life with you.  Are you looking for outdoor adventure or looking for a quiet retreat? Flip Flop Ranch offers the best of both.  You are always welcome here!  From our family to yours…

Get away from the stresses of the city and out into the country on a real working farm. Flip Flop Ranch specializes in raising endangered heritage livestock.  For example, our Cotton Patch Geese are critically endangered with only a few hundred left.

Our ranch is a peaceful spot where families, couples and groups can escape their busy, stressful work world and experience a beautiful natural environment.  We are very child-focused but there is plenty of fun to be had for adults here too!

We raise rare Dorking and Australorp chickens, Guinea Hogs, Ancona Ducks, Bourbon Red and Midget White turkeys and Nigerian Dwarf Goats.  We have a one acre orchard with all sorts of fruits and a four acre vineyard.

We really enjoy making people feel welcome and like they’re part of the family.  We want our guests to leave wishing that they could stay forever because they absolutely loved being here.

As a working farm guests are introduced to the whole farm experience.  Guests are welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. Many guests want to help with chores, while others simply enjoy sitting at the table under the big Elm tree or using the ranch as a jumping off point to visit the sites in southern california.
