Please be sure of your plans before booking!  As a small inn dealing almost exclusively with advance reservations, date changes and cancellations affect us significantly.   Please read our policies!  We realize that life and the weather are unpredictable, but we do not assume responsibility for either.  If you have any concerns about possibly having to cancel, we recommend inexpensive trip cancellation insurance.



Two (2) night minimum stay required on the weekends; with exception to some holidays and/or weekends when a three (3)-night minimum applies. Please inquire with us if your plans require a shorter stay.


If you need to cancel your reservation with us which we hope you won’t, the following will apply: Prior to 60 days to your arrival: your reservation price will be refunded (less a 10% service fee) Within 60 days of your arrival: No refunds unless we are able to get guests to fill your  room and then there is still a 10% service fee. No Shows with no prior notification: your reservation price will be forfeited and additional room nights will be available the next day if you contact us * Guests who leave early will unfortunately not be entitled to a refund for any part of their stay.  Please note that if you purchased a discounted stay through us, LivingSocial or any other coupon company that refunds are only allowed within the first 30 day window.


If we go crazy and allow you to reschedule within 60 days of your arrival and then you cannot find an alternative date, we will not refund.  You were lucky we let you reschedule after all. Also, we are a working farm and sometimes there are delays in us replying due to the needs of the farm.  If you are trying to reschedule and you miss your hoped for date because we were unable to get back to you in time, we still won’t refund.  Please remember that you are trying to experience authentic farm life and delays are part of that experience.


It’s too hot!  It’s too cold!  We suggested you get travel insurance!  For a very cheap fee, you are covered if this happens.  Get it!  We do not refund if you don’t want to come due to weather.  If we are in a good mood and allow you to reschedule, then our rescheduling policies are then in effect.


We appreciate if you head over for check-in time at 4:00pm and scadaddle for Check-out time at 11:00am * Please contact us if you would like to request a later check-out time. We will try to accommodate all requests.  We really try to be informal with our guests as we like to consider you family rather than customers. * If you know you will be arriving late (after 8pm), please let us know at the time of making your reservation so we can make arrangements to welcome you. If you are running late the day of, please text us @ 760-680-6146 so that we can make arrangements for you.


The ranch has a smoke-free policy. Guests will be charged a cleaning fee of $250 for violation of this policy and be asked to leave.


Pets are not allowed.  Sorry, but we have too many as it is! Service animals are allowed. Animals must have up-to-date immunizations. Owners will need to provide records upon reserving room.


Well-behaved children are always welcome at the ranch!  Bad children get fed to the pigs. Please advise us of any special arrangements or needs.


The ranch is somewhat handicap accessible.  We have downstairs rooms that handicapped individuals can use, but it may prove to be difficult getting around the ranch property.  Contact us and we can discuss each situation individually.
