Depending on the season, the Flip Flop Ranch guest ranch has anywhere from 50 to 75 sheep, a handful of pigs, some cows, a hundred chickens, bunches of barn cats (with plenty of kittens), geese, ducks, turkeys, goats, horses and more.
The Flip Flop Ranch guest ranch gives kids and adults the opportunity learn about growing their own food and raising their own animals. We teach homesteading skills such as soap making, canning, cheese making and enjoying the simple life.
Because we are a working farm raising farm-fresh meat, jams, goat’s milk caramel and other farm products, we can teach people through hands-on experience.
“Just being on a farm is good for the soul.”–Scottie Jones farmstay US
Your visit starts off with a tour through the ranch to learn where things are and to gain some basic knowledge about what we do and the types of livestock we raise. You are welcome to join us for feeding and milking in the morning and afternoon as well as lots of other farm activities!
